The National Literacy Trust was thrilled to organise their first ever virtual Where’s Wally? Weekender over the weekend.
‘Don the classic Where’s Wally? red and white stripes and run, walk or jog your own 1k, 5k or 10k route to help support the literacy of disadvantaged children”
Everyone who took part got a free Where’s Wally? costume, a medal and virtual goody bag once they had completed their route.
The Where’s Wally Weekender was open to everyone, whether you were a seasoned runner, wanting to take on a new challenge, or fancied a fun walk! All you needed to do was show off your stripes, choose your route and track your distance and be encouraged to raise money for the work of the National Literacy Trust. In total the trust managed to raise over £46000 from race fees.
Well done to all who took part, here’s a few snaps of the QRC ladies (and Phil) having fun. What a set of Wally’s
