Current restrictions

Our running groups are currently back on. You can view our weekly runs, and book your place, when details are released each Monday on our Eventbrite page.


Thursdays, 6:45pm for a 7:00 start
Queensbury Celtic, Pit Lane, Bradford, BD13 3ST

We currently have 7-8 different ability groups, ranging from walk/jog (2-3 miles), medium intermediates (4-6 miles) and faster pace (6+ miles). Each group is led by a run leader – details for the current week are posted on our Facebook page on Wednesday evening.

Saturdays, 9:00am start

We support a number of our local parkruns (HalifaxHorton Park & Bradford seem to be favourites), and organise regular away days to ones a bit further afield. See our Facebook Events page for details.

In the summer months, some of the groups take advantage of the lighter evenings to run off-road. Trail or fell shoes are recommended for this especially if its wet. In the winter, we stay on the roads around Queensbury and the surrounding villages. Running in the dark requires fluorescent running gear, head torches and so on. Waterproofs are needed from time to time. For the really cold weather, you will need a hat, gloves and a windproof running jacket.
