1 of our runners took on the ‘Tommy10k’ in aid of the Royal British Legion Industries (RBLI) a challenge that needed grit and determination to complete, the challenge itself consisted of running 10k a day for 10 days consecutively, nicknamed the ‘Special Forces Challenge’ Neil Windle completed the challenge on 2nd November and we managed to catch up with Neil after his final 10k.
‘It was tough out there, but not as tough as what our hero’s had to go through and what some are still going through today. Day 7 was the hardest a Friday evening in the rain, I even managed to fit in a quick half marathon on day 9, Thankyou to all my fans for their support and well wishes from QRC members. I managed to raise a fantastic £260, now where’s that warm bath’
