Huddersfield 10k 23rd Feb 2020

Ooopsy!! just like my running better late than never

Run under ARC rules, the Huddersfield 10k is an outstanding value for money chip-timed race set in the shadow of the majestic Lockwood Viaduct. A beautiful undulating course with a fast finish, the race offers an extensive prize list and tech t-shirts. Held since 1990, the race sees runners return year after year.

Well done to Paul Greenwood who ran a blinder last Sunday storming round the course in a super quick 37.19 finishing as 1st MV35 and 4th overall from a field of 568 runners, taking home a nice little £50 voucher.

Well done, this weekend Paul is going international and racing in the Bennidorm 10k on Saturaday evening, good luck and enjoy your alcohol free flight.

WYWL Stainland 23rd Feb 2020

What a great end to another fantastic WYWL season, after the recent floods it was a miracle that Stainland were able to go ahead with this fixture but credit to them they did a brilliant job and along the way raising plenty of funds towards the flood appeal.

378 runners turned for the race, slightly down on other fixtures but plenty to create a cracking atmosphere during the race and afterwards for the raffle.

Well done to all our members over the 5 races who raced, volunteered and cheered all the runners on.
