Leeds 10km 9th July 2017

Thousands of runners have been pounding the streets of Leeds in one of the region’s biggest 10K runs.

Since its launch 10 years ago, the Asda Foundation Leeds 10K has raised over £4m for good causes.

Organised by Run For All, the event is part of the lasting legacy of the late Jane Tomlinson CBE, who founded the charity road race shortly before her death.

A hot and sunny day greated the runners in Leeds and with temperatures soaring the opportunity for a PB would be hard to come by. Starting on Vicar Lane and on towards the train station before heading out onto  Kirkstall Rd, then turning back at 5k and finishing on the Headrow, a great race for a great charity. Well done to all that raced and well done for avoiding every cameraman on route.
