On 11th December, after a meet-up at the Junction Inn, a QRC coach-load headed up to Cumbria for the 2021 Langdale Christmas Pudding race. Following an undulating route through the stunning Great Langdale valley, the race ends with a Christmas pudding for all participants. There was a field of over 660, with 15 Queensbury runners on the start line. Paul Greenwood headed the Queensbury crew back across the finish line in a very respectable 5th place. Lorna Dodd also had a great race coming home as 6th female. Well done also to Pete Hughes and Steve Brooks who came first in their respective age categories, and indeed to all who ran for all-round strong performances. Many thanks to Neil Windle for organizing the trip. Hope you all enjoyed the puds!
