Leeds Country Way Relay 1St Sept 2019

The Leeds Country Way Relay is an annual race which has been organised by Kippax Harriers, since the race was first established in 1990. It is held around the end of August or the beginning of September and comprises of 6 pairs of runners in each team, with each pair running a leg (section) around the actual LCW route.

An approximate total of 64 miles are covered, in a total time of around 7 hours, starting and finishing at Garforth Leisure Centre.

Chris Williams captained a team for this event,  looking for a good finish amongst some of the areas best running clubs, and they didn’t disappoint coming home in 15th place overall from 58 teams and a total time of all 6 legs of 8:23:59.
