Run Leader Development Days

A series of informative and engaging workshops are aimed at leaders and coaches from both affiliated clubs and the RunTogether community. They are designed to bring leaders and coaches together in an environment where they can network and learn from each other by sharing skills and challenges, plus expand their knowledge of managing and growing groups, and enhance their understanding of technical skills in running.

Leadership in Running Fitness course

The Leadership in Running Fitness course will focus on the safe organisation of achievable and progressive running activity and how to lead a group of runners of varying ability. It focuses on understanding and overcoming barriers to participation in running and how to increase participation by those not traditionally attracted to a running club.

This is a one day course, involving classroom and practical activity, and the next local ones are:

Jo Punt is leading the Belters this week for a QRC handicap trial run – meet at the top of Station Road at 7pm. This is open to anyone from any of the other groups in case they want a practice before next Tue, 16th Jul.

Shibden Head Primary have their “prom” at the Raggalds 6:30-8:30, so the car park will be busier than normal.
