| Reason(s) for joining QRC | Close to where I live. I was introduced to the club by Peter Hughes who I knew through work. |
| Favourite type of running: (track, road, offroad, XC) | Offroad. I like the underfoot conditions and it's away from traffic fumes and noise. |
| Training schedule and distances | Anything from 5 miles to 20 miles. Easy runs, hilly runs, long steady runs or track for speed. |
| Favourite race distance(s) | 10 miles. This distance for me seems to be the one where I can set off at a pace that I can control and catch up later, unlike 10Ks where you have to go for it at the start. I am a slow starter. |

| Memorable race(s) or moments and why | My PB at Thirsk. At 9 miles my time was 50 minutes and I thought I was on for 56 minutes and felt in control. It felt easy but the last mile took 8 minutes so it was a long one. It was also memorable seeing Steve Wilby doing 60:04 when he felt he was going to break 60 minutes when he felt he was on for 58, but he took it well! |
| Other Hobbies | Rugby, I played for 18 years and made some good friends. |
| What do you like most about the club? | I like teamwork and being a member of a club. Queensbury is that type of club where we race together, train together and drink together. Nobody feels that they are any better or worse than anyone in the club, they are all decent people and to be involved with that is a privilege. |
