Three Queensbury runners ran the infamous Bluebell Trail. The conditions cleared up for the start of the race but in the days leading up to the race, it had rained enough for the organisers to divert the course away from the river crossing at the very end and instead go further on the canal and back on the road, making the distance 11.3 mi instead of 10.3 mi. The route was heavy going but overall a superb race organised by the Stainland Lions.
- Peter May finished in 1:31:03 in 38th position.
- Andrew Stott finished in 1:39:02 in 83rd position.
- Graham Jowett finished in 1:46:04 in 136th position.
Well done to all three.
