YOUR BIGGEST YORKSHIRE HALF – LEEDS HALF MARATHON
The Leeds Half Marathon – which this year celebrates its 34th anniversary – is firmly established as one of the highlights on Leeds’s sporting calendar thanks to its challenging course, enthusiastic crowds and fantastic atmosphere.
Around 9,000 sign up for this annual event raising hundreds of thousands of pounds for charities and good causes across Yorkshire and beyond.
The route starts in The Headrow alongside Victoria Gardens, heads out of the city centre, takes in a section of the Ring Road and returns via Abbey Road and Kirkstall Road before finishing in Cookridge Street alongside Millennium Square.
Well done to all who took part and congrats to the ladies running their 1st half marathon and to Martin and Carl on age category placings.
