A longer route providing a great stepping stone from half marathon to full marathon. An undulating course, with almost 800m of total ascent. The race starts by climbing to the summit of Skipton’s iconic hill of Sharphaw then heading into the Dales eventually climbing your next summit of Weets Top near Malham. From here you will head back down with Sharphaw in view again. Mixed terrain, footpaths, tracks, boggy fields and open moor this route provides interest mile after mile for new and experienced runners.
Well done to Andy Smith for braving the elements and having a great race finishing in 4:12:34
