Ladybower Marathon 30th June 2018

The Ladybower Trail Marathon is set in the idyllic beauty spot of the Peak District national park, the course is surrounded by the elevated fells set within the Derwent Valley. Described by fellow runners as one of the most scenic trail marathons in the Peak District this one is not to be missed.

A super fast course with very runnable hard packed trails, but runners are advised not to get too comfortable. With the organisers throwing in a couple of climbs which take you high up onto the Derwent edges, followed by some great technical descending!!!!

With the hot sunny conditions all competitors will have been thoroughly overjoyed to see feed stations every 5 miles.

Heading over representing Queensbury was our very own man machine Simon Brady who despite the tough, hot and dry conditions ran a magnificent race finishing in a good 9th place in a super quick time of 3:37:07, Well done Simon a brilliant run, keep up the fab running.

Simon and his new pal for 10miles.
