After a successful first outing the Northowram Pumas once again hosted the Coley Canter last Saturday the 30th December 2017.
For those wanting to blow away the Christmas cobwebs and stretch their running legs, early entry was needed as this revived classic sells out quick.
127 runners finished the tough course which started from the Puma’s base in Northawram, featuring 8 miles of glorious mud and puddles, coupled with hills and over 1000ft of climbing and with a stream crossing which had turned into full blown raging river due to the recent weather and melting snow.
A fantastic race, definitely one to recommend for next year, excellent marshalling by all the volunteers who stood out in the cold and rain for what must have seemed an eternity. Well done the Puma’s.
3 QRCers made the long trip and we all thoroughly enjoyed the race.
