YVAA Grand Prix – 24/04/16

Evening gang,

A little belated, mostly due me having a superfluous social life, but last Sunday was the start of this years YVAA Grand Prix, The Yorkshire Vet’s race series. As long as you are 35 Years and over you are classed as a vet and eligible to race in the Grand Prix.

Sunday’s race took place at Honley and Queensbury was represented by 7 of our runners.

Stacey Cleal was solely representing QRC and was the 14th female coming home is 52:51

Michael Coe was the first QRC runner back in 44:23, 13th Male
Carl Heron made it round in 46:48, 21st Male
Peter May was next with a time of 47:48, 26th Male
Andy Stott had a time of 49:40, 40th Male
Graham Jowett was the 3rd M65 with 54:41, 62nd Male
Andy Smith gallopped across the line in 62:25, 83rd Male

The next race in the series is in West Park, Leeds on the 24th May.
